New Headquarters Hotel

This hotel is about 5 minutes from the MCKC National Specialty and Sweepstakes, 40 minutes from Hatboro, 45 minutes from Devon and 1 hour from the Agility, Obedience and the Hunting venue. All rooms are suites with a living area which includes a sleeper sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. Single bedroom suites are $129/night and double bedroom suites are $169/night. A few ‘trio’ suites (double bedroom suites with two beds in one of the bedrooms) are available at $179/night. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $100/suite.

For reservations call 610-313-9990 and ask for the “Airedale Terrier Club of America block”. Unsold rooms will be released on August 30th and after that time reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the prevailing rate. Rooms must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to expected arrival to avoid a penalty equal to one night’s room rate and tax.

An additional block of rooms has been reserved at the Candlewood Suites-Horsham PA which is about 15 minutes from the new Headquarters Hotel. All rooms are suites with full kitchens. A Studio suite (one bed) is $99.99/night and a one bedroom suite (two beds) is $119.99. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $25/room. For reservations call 215-328-9119 and ask for the “ATCA block of rooms”. Unsold rooms will be released on August 19th.

Days Inn-Horsham PA which is about 15 minutes from the Headquarters Hotel. Call 215-674-2500 for reservations.

Extended Stay America-Plymouth Meeting is about 5 minutes from the Headquarters Hotel. Call 856-246-8222 for reservations.

For those who prefer a full service hotel (no pets allowed):

Doubletree Guest Suites Plymouth Meeting is within 5 minutes of the Headquarters Hotel. Call 610-834-8300 for reservations.

The INN at Chester Springs is also available for those who prefer to be in the Exton area – convenient for the agility, obedience and hunting venues. The rate would be $119/room with a $15/night pet fee. Call 888-253-6119 for reservations.

Directions to the Show and Trial Locations

Hatboro Show Site: (Thursday All Breed Show; Friday All Breed Show and ATCA Supported Entry)
~Allow about 1 hour driving time from the HQ hotel
Start by turning LEFT on to EAST GERMANTOWN PIKE at ARCH ROAD
Go 2.2 miles and take the PA TURNPIKE EAST (I-276) ramp.
Proceed on I-276 to EXIT 351 (ROUTE 1).
Take ROUTE 1 NORTH. Be certain to take the Main Route 1, and not Business Route 1.
Follow ROUTE 1 to ROUTE 413 NORTH.
Follow 413 NORTH through the Village of Langhorne. It will later bypass the Village of Newtown.
Shortly, you will come to the Village of Wrightstown. Watch for the FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE, ON YOUR LEFT.
Take the next LEFT (PENN’S PARK ROAD). The show grounds is about 1/4 mile distance, on the left.

Devon Show Site: (Saturday All Breed Show)
~ Allow about 45 minutes driving time from the HQ hotel.
Start by turning LEFT on to EAST GERMANEOWN PIKE at ARCH ROAD.
Go 2.2 miles and follow PA TURNPIKE WEST (I-276) signs.
Proceed WEST on I-276 (becomes I-76 at EXIT 326) for approx. 21 miles to EXIT 312 (DOWNINGTOWN/POTTSTOWN ROUTE 100).
Turn RIGHT (NORTH) onto POTTSTOWN PIKE (ROUTE 100).
Go 4.4 miles NORTH to Ludwig’s Corner Show Grounds. The entrance to the show grounds is on your left.

Dog Training Club of Chester County (Obedience & Rally Trials, Luncheon & Boutique on Saturday)
880 Springdale Dr., Suite 100, Exton, PA.
~Allow 1 hour driving time from the headquarters hotel (about 30 miles)
Start by turning LEFT onto EAST GERMANTOWN PIKE toward ARCH ROAD.
Go 2.2 miles and follow the PA TURNPIKE WEST (I-276) signs.
Proceed WEST on I-276 (becomes I-76 at EXIT 326) for approx. 21 miles to EXIT 312 (DOWNINGTOWN/POTTSTOWN ROUTE 100).
Turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto POTTSTOWN PIKE (ROUTE 100), and go 3.8 miles to BUSINESS ROUTE 30. (E LINCOLN HWY)
Turn LEFT (EAST) onto BUSINESS ROUTE 30 and go 1.4 miles to SPRINGDALE DRIVE.
Turn RIGHT on SPRINGDALE DRIVE at the “Whiteland Business Park” sign. Dog Training Facility is the 1st building on left (#880)

Montgomery County Show Site: Montgomery County Community College - 340 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA
(ATCA National Specialty and Sweepstakes ~ Sunday)
~ Allow 10 minutes driving time from the headquarters hotel (3.7 miles)
Start out by turning RIGHT (SOUTHWEST) on ARCH RD toward E. GERMANTOWN PIKE.
Turn RIGHT onto GERMANTOWN PIKE.
Turn RIGHT onto DE KALB PIKE/US-202. Continue to follow US-202.
Look for the college signs, 1/4 mile north of Route 73.

Hunt Test Site: Far Meadows Farm, 1541 Art School Rd., Chester Springs, PA (ATCA Hunt Tests Monday and Tuesday)
~ Allow 55 minutes driving time from the headquarters hotel (about 27 miles)
Start by turning LEFT onto EAST GERMANTOWN PIKE at ARCH ROAD
Go 2.2 miles and follow the PA TURNPIKE WEST (I-276) SIGNS.
Proceed WEST on I-276 (becomes I-76 at EXIT 326) for approx. 21 miles to EXIT 312 (DOWNINGTOWN/POTTSTOWN ROUTE 100).
Turn LEFT (SOUTH) onto POTTSTOWN PIKE (ROUTE 100), and go 0.8 mile to ROUTE 113 (UWCHLAN AVENUE).
Turn LEFT on ROUTE 113 NORTH and proceed for 4 miles. You will see ‘Hallman’s General Store’ on your left.
Turn LEFT on PIKELAND ROAD for 0.2 mile.
Turn RIGHT on ART SCHOOL ROAD.

TO the ATCA Annual Meeting, Banquet and Auction ~ at Pine Crest Country Club: Saturday evening
~ Allow 20 min. driving time from the Headquarters’ hotel (9.8 miles). 101 Country Club Drive Lansdale, PA (215) 855-4113
Start by turning RIGHT (NORTHWEST) on E. GERMANTOWN PIKE toward HANNA AVENUE
