I love Airedales and have been breeding under the Indus (reg. perm.) Kennel name for over 30 years. I fell in love with the breed when a high school friend got an Airedale and I always swore I would buy an Airedale when I got a house. First came the Airedale and then we took possession of the house.
A number of years ago I made a video (now DVD) with Kyra Dennis on grooming the pet Airedale. My Harry Potter (top Airedale in Canada 2002) was a best in show winner and he won multiple Airedale and terrier specialties in Canada and the USA. He was sired by a Terrydale Kennel dog and that has turned into a long relationship with Maripi and Jen Terrydale Kennels. The picture is USA CAN. Ch. Terrydale HK Mary Quite Contrary and I at an Airedale Christmas party. Mary was #2 in Canada 2009. In 2010 I finished two champions and hope to show two of Mary's pups this summer.
I am one of the original members of AireCanada and have been heavily involved in Airedale rescue over the years. My husband Jon and I have just moved to Sidney, British Columbia with our herd of Airedales and Krispy our standard wire dachshund. I am hoping to inspire the BC breeders to return to the show ring and enjoy exhibiting our Airedales. I also hope to establish a Victoria Airedale Owners Group with a few activities. I am very honored to represent the club as the BC director.
