Check out this ATCC Blast from the Past!
March 22, 2005 is the official 35th anniversary of the inception of the Airedale Terrier Club of Canada, as noted in A Decade of Airedales, written by Ron Hobkirk and published in 1979. As Airedales and Airedale lovers know, any excuse for a celebration is a good one!

?
- The first meeting of the ATCC was on March 22nd, 1970 at the Canadian National Sportsmens Show. The President was Mrs. Hilary Dude, the Vice President was Mr. John Voortman, the Secretary was Mrs. Carole Preece and the Treasurer was Mrs Elma Lewis-Watts.
- The following year, the position of 2nd Vice President was introduced and that chair was filled by Mr. Henk Bennink.
- The very first booster was held in Barrie, Ontario in August, 1970.
In the weeks to come, we will keep you informed of what we have planned to celebrate this important milestone in the history of the ATCC. As well, we hope to dip into the historical archives to find stories and pictures depicting the growth, development and high points of our proud organization. Here are some examples:
